Galactica, a giant inclusive playset from Agapito Industries, turns the conquest of space into a challenge within the reach of any child.
Teruel has just inaugurated a unique children playground area in Spain, both for its galactic theme and for its integrative nature. A giant playset whose space mission is about to begin. Once the kids get into the play area, they will be able to take off in 3,2,1…. A unique adventure awaits them that will take them throughout outer space and will even reach the international space station.
The Galactica is a game area in itself. It is such a large playset and with such diverse games that entertainment is guaranteed. Children, while playing, can develop creativity, imagination, motor skills and team play. Furthermore, as it is an adapted playset, the enjoyment of children with other abilities is guaranteed.
The inclusive playset includes six themed towers, slides (1 giant helical grotto, 1 giant L-type grotto and 2 straight open ones) and a total of 17 additional games distributed throughout the towers. A unique playground in the city with a surface area of 300 square meters.
The crew accesses the ship through the station’s Tower and has its own command post and control panel for takeoff. You can climb into outer space and then slide down two giant grotto slides and also onto the igniting rocket tower. Once the crew climbs the tower, they will be able to access a double climbing wall and let their imagination fly with the solar panels on the roof or the rest of the themed decoration.
Through the time tunnel you reach the laboratory tower where the most curious can do all kinds of experiments and slide down the fire bars. Spinners, climbers, and space skylights will accompany you to the Rocket Tower.
Thanks to the meteorite climbing walls, children will be able to climb and reach the top while friendly aliens, engraved on the panels, become their friends. In the panels we can find very fun games where there is no shortage of distant planets, solar panels or black holes. Once on the moon, the little ones will be able to immortalize the moment in the photocall wearing an astronaut suit.
Without forgetting children with reduce mobility, Galactica houses a large integration area that addresses the right of all children to play regardless of their abilities. Children in wheelchairs will be able to access one of its towers through an adapted ramp with railings on the sides for greater safety and during the tour they will be able to stop and play on the fun space-themed and educational panels. Each game is different and, in addition, they are in English such as the “rocket launch”, the “space word search”, the “moon phases”, the “planetary mazes”, the “alphabet of signs” or the “layers of the atmosphere” are some of the games that all children can access.
The giant Multigame “La Galactica” is protected by a continuous EPDM shock-absorbing floor perfect for cushioning falls and whose aesthetics are 100% thematic. “La Galactica” is a complete play area designed to satisfy the play demands of any child, whatever their ability and age.
Its inauguration took place on October 2 and was attended by the Mayor, Emma Buj, the Councilor for Parks and Gardens, Pilar Sánchez and representatives of the company PLD SPACE. All of them agreed that it is a unique game in Spain because it is a multi-game with a different, inclusive and educational theme.
