The YETI giant playset becomes the main character of Moncofa parks in Castellón

The “Plaza dels Esport”s park in Moncofa, Castellón, now has a giant themed tower from Industrias Agapito that refers to the mythological character, the snowman “Yeti”.

Moncofa City Council has trusted Agapito Industries to offer a completely renewed air to its playgrounds. In order to offer the little ones the most imaginative, interactive and didactic games, it has been decided to incorporate a giant YETI-themed tower in the “Plaça dels Esports”.
This tower is based on the legend of the snowman. On the lower level, it has a crawling tunnel “the yeti finger”, a social gathering bench, interactive games with sliding tokens to exercise fine motor skills, a game for measuring height and a panel with a “Yeti” themed word search. While the yeti’s body becomes a tower almost 7 meters high and two giant grotto slides where the most intrepid can slide and enjoy without limit.
The great acceptance that the Yeti character has had among the little ones, since the end of the year, is the culmination of the great effort that the City Council has made through different public reforms to improve the quality of life of the residents of Moncofa in its outdoor facilities
The other park that has also been remodeled has been that of “Camí Vilavella” where, in addition to installing new children’s playgrounds, the continuous floor has been renewed with EPDM flooring according to EN1177 safetyt standard to provide greater security for the little ones.
Through these reforms, the main playgrounds in the municipality have now, not only innovative playgroudns that provide adequate physical activity for children, but are also 100% compliant with European safete regulations
