Industrias Agapito has completed the manufacturing and installation of a new parkour park in Calahorra, La Rioja. The Parkour Zaragoza Movement association was responsible for inaugurating the new park with an exhibition and obstacle demonstration. A workshop was held to teach children, seniors, and adults how to practice parkour, in the presence of local authorities and residents.
The selected circuit model for this project is Parkour Madrid, which includes a 161 m² safety area designed to allow 45 users to practice simultaneously. This makes it possible for a group of practitioners to enjoy the sport at the same time, without compromising the quality or safety of the activity. The design optimizes space usage, ensuring that multiple people can participate fluidly and without interference, maximizing the sports experience.
Industrias Agapito excels in the manufacture of parkour parks by using high-quality materials and advanced techniques that guarantee safety, strength, and durability. The structures are made of 4 mm thick galvanized steel, polyethylene panels coated with 21 mm anti-slip rubber, and galvanized steel tubes of varying diameters and thicknesses. Each component is designed to withstand intensive use and harsh weather conditions.
In addition, the mixed calisthenics and parkour sets integrate hot-dip galvanized steel posts, stainless steel fasteners, and high-weather-resistant polymer-reinforced straps. The firmness and stability of these installations are ensured by galvanized anchors, which provide solid fixation on any surface. Thanks to this manufacturing process, Industrias Agapito offers parkour parks that combine functionality, design, and safety, meeting the industry’s most stringent standards.
Parkour is a sport that involves moving from one point to another in the most efficient and fluid way possible, overcoming urban or natural obstacles. Practitioners, known as traceurs, use a combination of jumps, climbs, slides, and acrobatics to overcome barriers such as walls, railings, and stairs. Parkour encourages creativity, mental agility, and personal growth, as each course requires adapting quickly to the environment. This discipline has gained popularity worldwide due to its focus on mobility, individual expression, and comprehensive physical work, becoming a form of art in motion.
With this new facility, Industrias Agapito responds to the growing demand for such outdoor sports facilities, which are increasingly present in Spanish municipalities to promote sports in open spaces as a form of healthy recreation. These infrastructures not only encourage sports practice but also improve physical and mental health.
Industrias Agapito continues to establish itself as a leader in the manufacture and installation of customized sports equipment for municipalities and communities. To learn more about parkour circuit options and their features, visit https://www.industriasagapito.com/parkour/
