Montevideo city in Uruguay enjoys its first Senior Playground, by Industrias Agapito

Industrias Agapito has installed the first senior-friendly outdoor fitness park in Uruguay. Located at Plaza Companys in the Uruguayan capital, this installation marks an important milestone in the company’s international expansion, as it continues to invest in developing inclusive spaces dedicated to the well-being of older adults. This thoughtfully designed park allows Montevideo residents to enjoy the benefits of outdoor physical activity in a safe and accessible manner.

The park features double pedal benches, ideal for light cardiovascular exercises that allow seniors to pedal and maintain good physical shape. These benches are made of galvanized steel and high-density polyethylene, with stainless steel pedals to ensure durability in outdoor conditions. Additionally, the park includes a shoulder wheel, perfect for increasing shoulder joint mobility, strengthening muscles, and improving circulation. This equipment, built with galvanized steel and polyethylene components, is resilient and low-maintenance, suitable for outdoor use.

The installation also offers a zigzag arm lift apparatus, designed for strength training exercises that are accessible to wheelchair users, as well as a mobile obstacle course that enhances balance and coordination, ensuring a safe and stable environment thanks to its galvanized steel and anti-slip polyethylene construction.
