First Yeti giant tower manufactured and installed in the playground of Alagon, Zaragoza

The Municipality of Alagon, located west of Zaragoza, trusted the Industrias Agapito playground manufacturer for the expansion of the Portalada park by installing the first Yeti-themed giant tower which is part of our ‘Legends’ series.

The municipality decided to provide this public space dedicated to the children of the municipality with a spectacular tower of almost 7 meters high with two pipe slides of 3.5 and 2.5 meters high.

 The play area is almost 62m2 and, as we see in social networks, the installation of the giant Yeti has also become a sensation in all the surrounding villages’ inhabitants who come with their little ones to enjoy the fun playset

 The Legends series tower is inspired by the legend of the snowman and features a hot-dip galvanized steel structure and anti-graffiti high-density polyethylene panels. It has 4 levels of play and winter themed decoration that will transport children between 1 and 14 years old to the icy lands of Tibet

 On the lower level, there is the “Yeti’s Finger” crawling tunnel, a gathering bench, interactive games with sliding tiles to exercise fine motor skills, a ruler-height measuring game and a Yeti” themed word search. On each level, there is a translucent skylight and educational games

 In addition to the Yeti giant tower, the Portalada playground has completed its play area by combining the impressive structure with the installation of a  balance seesaw (with an elastic rubber spinner that offers resistance to torsion and cushions the movement so that children can play in complete safety), a mixed swing with Playkit baby cradle seats and a rotating bowl, adapted for people with reduced mobility and consisting of a galvanized steel structure with an inclined swing that wraps around the child and helps contain them inside.

 In short, a great project carried out in this Municipality of Aragon for the creation of play areas in public parks that feature inclusive elements as well as children’s games as attractive and innovative as the Yeti-themed tower. This installation, designed, manufactured and installed by Industrias Agapito, will surely be providing a high added value to the community and to the new generations of the municipality of Aragon.
